Crowne Plaza Ft. Lauderdale Airport/Cruise by IHG

Stayed one night before a cruise - the room was awesome - beautifully appointed and immaculate! Gio at the front desk checked me in. He was friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. He gave me recommendations on ways to get to the cruise port when I asked!

overall not a bad place. shuttle service - great - very quick and picked me up right where i said i was.. best part it was free! check in - super easy. Raphael was pleasant and helpful. room - spacious king room. bed was soft and pillows were comfortable. bathroom was little small and water was not always hot but not a big issue. no safe in room. service - i asked for extra towel but had to ask 4x. stayed for 2 nights / 3 days and no one came to make my bed or clean the room.. but staff was friendly when we crossed paths. didn’t go to resturant but grabbed a coffee both mornings for $2. did the job. pool looked nice but was to cold to use. gym was pretty tiny but had the essentials. parking is $21 / per night but you get in and out privileges check out - simple and quick

PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO READ THIS REVIEW. We stayed here the night before our cruise. It is a very nice hotel. Shuttle from airport - called, was told where to go, picked up 1/2 hour later. Shuttle driver was excellent. Greeted by a representative of the hotel when we arrived. It was pretty flawless considering the hundred people waiting for shuttles at the time. We did have to drop off at The Holiday Inn, but it was still a quick trip. Check-in - Fast, easy, helpful. Explained the hotel Rooms - Clean, beds comfortable, bathroom updated. Only knock is no safe in room. I would rethink staying here because of that. They may want to think about adding. Sundry shop - Was able to get delicious coffee for $2 a banana and pick up a muffin and yogurt for my husband. Large selection of wine - some chilled. Not my thing but a nice amenity. Breakfast - looked and smelled delicious, dining area seemed nice. $20 for adults which seemed reasonable for a hotel. Pool - looked nice. Didn't use Terrace area - really lovely place to have coffee and write this review. Picture included. Fitness Center - nice and clean Restaurant - viewed but didnt eat. Very lovely. We went to another Mexican restaurant off-site that was the same price. Overall a very nice hotel. Clean and modern. We stayed at another well known chain last time and it was small and dirty. The only downside is if you need to pick up anything at a store for your trip - stores aren't close. No problem - we took an uber to dinner and the store. You can walk but the hotel is located on a very busy road/area. Very nice wine bar just around the corner from the hotel which you can walk to behind the hotel and staying off busy road. I would rate this a 3 star hotel - not 2 star. I've stayed in 3 star hotels that weren't as nice as this hotel. Overall - very nice experience. Thank you.

This hotel was truly a blessing. We had just finished a full day of traveling, landing late at Miami Airport, and desperately needed rest. We found this new property on our IHG app — we’re Platinum Elite members — and decided to give it a try. The check-in was swift, the bed linens and pillows were luxurious, and we were even given a corner room with both pool and lake views. In the morning, we were greeted warmly by every team member we encountered, from the front desk to the breakfast attendant. The highlight of breakfast? The potato soufflé — wow! After just returning from a 5-star all-inclusive resort in Curaçao, I can honestly say this hotel did many things even better. We will definitely be back!

Good place to stay bit far from the FLL cruise and and airport. The room was spacious and the bed ... Omg GOOD matras and GOOD pillows!!! Nowadays Hotels are bit spending money on good quality pillows, and do not have feather ones but here they did. I slelt like a baby

Aweso location for cruise travelers....Port Everglades is just down the street. A bit pricey but worth it. The restaurant is ok, although it could work with a larger wait staff. Pool was heated and welcoming however it could use a cleaning.

We had a wonderful stay at The Crown Hotel! All the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive from start to finish. They offer a free shuttle from the airport, which was so convenient! Catalina picked us up and was amazing! She gave us helpful tips and told us a lot about the city on the way. The front desk staff and the manager, Clemencia, were also very kind and welcoming. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the food was delicious! We’d definitely stay here again!

Diamond guest. Spacious room. Excellent shower. Loved the large pebblestone floor. Had closet with iron and ironing board. Microwave and fridge. These are the important things. A/C made the room cold. Bed covers are warm. Pillows are thick. Much appreciated! Suffient lighting, but little overhead, but the few lights in room are incredibly bright. My nightstand light lit up the room by itself. The other nightstand light made the room completely bright. Only downside was no way to use my HDMI connection with the TV. Their were available HDMI ports. None worked including the one for the direct TV box. My equipment registered as no signal. The remote had no way to change the source. It was not important enough to reach out to the front desk. If it were, I am sure they would have helped me out. Would stay again. Per TV stations, OMG! So many channels!
